Reported from the county, but not likely part of an established, self-sustaining population
An effort to reestablish Epioblasma penita into the Coosa River in the tailwaters below Jordan Dam was initiated in 2005.
10 Ptychobranchus greenii was listed as endangered under the federal Endangered Species Act in 1993. Williams et al. (2008) restricted its distribution to the Black Warrior and Tombigbee River systems, with the form in the remainder of the Mobile Basin recognized as Ptychobranchus foremanianus.
11 Intergrades between northern and Florida pine snakes have been found in the county.
12 Reintroduced in the Coosa River below Jordan Dam in 2004
